1.1 In connection with your application for and opening of an account with us, we ask you to provide us with, among other things, your name, email address, contact telephone number, vehicle registration number and credit card, debit card or direct debit details. We use this data for the purposes of managing your account with us and processing your toll payments. We do not collect any more personal data than is necessary to fulfil these purposes.
1.2 eFlow offers two different accounts for customers by reference to the method of recording the passage of registered vehicles on the M50 Toll Road, namely tag accounts and video accounts. Irrespective of the type of account selected, or whether a road user has an account, all vehicles that use the M50 Toll Road are photographed/video recorded. These photographs/images are retained for the purpose of enforcement and to address and resolve any disputes that may arise in relation to a vehicle or an account.
1.3 In addition, eFlow provides a facility for unregistered customers to use the M50 Toll Road and to pay road tolls. In the case of unregistered users, eFlow sources the name and address of the registered owner of cars using the M50 Toll Road from the National Vehicle Driver File, in accordance with specific legislative authority. In addition, we may collect credit or debit card details from you in connection with payments which you make as an unregistered customer.
1.4 We may disclose your personal data to our agents, contractors and service providers to the extent reasonably required for the purposes described above.
1.5 We may disclose your personal data to a relevant compatible operator in connection with the provision of interoperable toll transactions in Ireland.
1.6 We may also share information about the way you conduct your account with credit reference agencies.
1.7 The personal data which you provide to us and which we collect when your vehicle uses the M50 Toll Road will be held on secure servers hosted by BetEire Flow. We will take all reasonable steps (including appropriate technical and organisational security measures) to protect your personal data. The National Roads Authority is the data controller in respect of this data, which is processed on behalf of the National Roads Authority by BetEire Flow in its capacity as a data processor.
1.8 If at any time we decide to use your personal data in a manner significantly different from that stated in this data protection notice, or otherwise disclosed to you at the time it was collected, we will notify you, and you will have the choice as to whether or not we use your information in the new manner.
