If you miss the 8pm next day deadline the following penalties may apply:

  • First Penalty – Standard Toll Request: A late fee of €4.00 per journey will be added, and a First Penalty Notice will be issued.
  • Second Penalty – Unpaid Toll Notice: If the toll and penalty is left unpaid for 14 days, an additional €50.00 penalty will apply, and a Second Penalty Notice will be issued.
  • Third Penalty: After 72 days, a further penalty of €125.50 will be charged, and the case will be referred to eFlow’s solicitors, Pierse Fitzgibbon LLP.

Continued non-payment may result in legal action.

For non-ROI customers, all penalty notices will be sent from Euro Parking Collection (EPC) Plc.

Watch this video to learn how a penalty escalates if you miss the next day 8pm deadline.

Visit ‘Pay a Penalty'

Enter your vehicle registration number, PIN’ or ‘Notice Number’ (both are located on your penalty letter) to view your unpaid tolls and penalties.

If you don’t know your PIN:

  1. Click ‘I don’t know my PIN’ underneath PIN details.
  2. Enter your email address and the details of your last M50 toll journey,
  3. We will send you an email with your PIN.

If the payment deadline has passed, and a penalty has been applied, the full amount must be paid to prevent any penalties from escalating.

Avoid future penalties by signing up for an eFlow account to pay your tolls automatically. During account registration you can add any unpaid toll journeys at a reduced rate.

If you choose not to add the outstanding M50 toll journeys to your account, the tolls and penalties will continue to increase until they are paid.

How Do I Appeal a Penalty?

If you believe you received a penalty in error, you can appeal a penalty here

A member of our customer service team will investigate and respond within 5 working days.

Penalties are applied to the registered owner of the vehicle.  If you’ve recently sold the vehicle, please ensure the Department of Transport is informed so the National Vehicle Driver File (NVDF) can be updated.

You can update the ownership of your vehicle online here.

What If I Sold My Vehicle?

The National Vehicle Driver File (NVDF) is used to determine ownership of a vehicle.

If you have recently sold your vehicle, you must update the Department of Transport so the NVDF can be updated. eFlow cannot make this change on your behalf.

Once the change of ownership has been completed, eFlow’s records will update automatically and any penalties will be transferred to the new registered owner.

You can update the ownership of your vehicle on the NVDF online here.

What If My Vehicle Was Stolen?
