Established in 2007 by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) (formerly the National Roads Authority), eFlow operates the barrier-free tolling system on Dublin’s M50 motorway and is also one of four providers of electronic tags for use on all National Toll  Roads in the Republic of Ireland.

eFlow is managed and operated on behalf of TII by Turas Mobility Services.

Transport Infrastucture Ireland (TII)

Transport Infrastructure Ireland was established through a merger of the National Roads Authority and the Railway Procurement Agency under the Roads Act 2015. TII’s primary function is to provide an integrated approach to the future development of the national roads network and light rail throughout the Republic of Ireland.

TII is responsible for overseeing the procurement and implementation of new tolling arrangements, and for monitoring and managing existing tolling arrangements on the national road network, including the M50 barrier-free toll and the tolling interoperability system for tag customers (known as eToll) enabling them to use any toll road in the Republic of Ireland.

Turas Mobility Services is a joint venture between VINCI Highways (a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions) and Abtran (the largest Irish-owned business process management provider), supporting TII in managing eFlow.
By blending international best practice with local knowledge, Turas is helping TII to meet the current and future needs of this increasingly vital link in the country’s transport system.

Pierse Fitzgibbon Solicitors is the enforcement service provider for the eFlow barrier-free toll system on the M50.
The law firm is based in Listowel, Co Kerry, and is responsible for processing legal proceedings initiated at the end of eFlow’s late-payment notification process.
