Motor cars (up to eight passengers and driver) | €2.50 | €3.10 | €3.80 |

The M50 toll rates will change for all unregistered users and some registered users from 1st January 2025 and will increase:
- By €0.10 for unregistered vehicles of up to 8 passengers, buses or coaches of more than 8 passengers and goods vehicles not exceeding 2,000kg, and goods vehicles between 2,000kg and 10,000kg.
- By €0.20 for unregistered goods vehicles exceeding 10,000kg, tractors and articulated vehicles.
- By €0.10 for registered goods vehicles exceeding 10,000kg, tractors and articulated vehicles with video and tag tolling.
There is no toll increase for cars registered with an eFlow tag or free video tolling account. M50 video tolling is perfect for infrequent users, offering a €0.70 saving on each M50 toll, automatic payments, and the convenience of not worrying about the toll payment deadline.
The 2025 toll charges have been calculated based on the Consumer Price Index (“CPI”) which increased by 1.7% between August 2023 and August 2024. This increase has resulted in an increase in the tolls chargeable unregistered vehicles using the M50 toll.
Tolling is a vital source of funding for the operation and maintenance of the National Road Network.
