M50 Toll Rate Changes 2024
The M50 toll rates are scheduled to increase, effective from 1 January 2024. The decision comes as a response to an increase in inflation in 2023. The following new toll rates will apply from 1 January 2024.

The M50 toll rates will change for Registered Tag users, Registered Video Tolling users and Unregistered users from 1st January 2024 and will increase:
- By €0.20 for vehicles of up to 8 passengers.
- By €0.30 for Buses or coaches of more than 8 passengers and goods vehicles not exceeding 2,000kg, and tag users for goods vehicles between 2,000kg and 10,000kg.
- By €0.40 for video account users and unregistered users of goods vehicles between 2,000kg and 10,000kg.
- By €0.40 for all goods vehicles exceeding 20,000kg.
The 2024 toll charges have been calculated based on the Consumer Price Index (“CPI”) which increased by 6.3% between August 2022 and August 2023. This increase has resulted in an increase in the tolls chargeable for users of the M50 as set out above.
